Kubota to debut new machines at BTME 2006

Engineering company Kubota will be using BTME 2006 to debut a new 32hp manual gearbox compact tractor and two new high performance diesel ride-on front mowers.

Technical details of the new machines have not yet been released by the company but are expected to be announced shortly.

The Harrogate show will also see examples from Kubota's 22-strong tractor line-up, from 14hp to 105hp and suitable for a range of applications on and off the golf course.

In addition to the two new front mowers, Kubota will be showing its GR ride-on mowers launched in 2005 and the ZD28 zero-turn machine, with its 28hp diesel engine and 1.52m (60in) cutter deck.

Completing the exhibit will be the company's RTV900 all-terrain utility vehicle launched last summer. With a 22hp diesel engine, the RTV900 has a top speed of 25mph, rugged yet smooth-riding suspension and a three-range hydrostatic transmission giving dynamic braking and an automatic power boost when climbing slopes.

The vehicle is available with either a bench seat or individual seating, both versions suitable for two large adults held in place by side grab rails and seat belts.

The hydraulically-tipped rear cargo box has a load capacity of 500kg/1,100lbs and internal dimensions of 1.32m wide x 1.18m long x 0.29m deep/ 52in x 47in x 11.4in.
